Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information PeptideGuide collects at peptideguide.fit, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and collect as little as we can.
What we collect
- Email address, if you sign up for research updates.
- Mobile number, only if you choose to give it and check the box agreeing to receive text messages. Texts are always optional.
- Contact form messages, including the name, email address and message you send.
- Basic server logs kept by our web host, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Hosts use these for security and to keep the site running.
- A small setting in your browser that remembers whether you already saw our signup popup, so we do not show it again. It stays on your device and is not used to track you.
We do not run advertising, we do not use advertising tracking pixels, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
How we use it
- To send the research updates you asked for.
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To keep the site secure and working.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, and only for that purpose. These include our web host and our email newsletter provider. If you agree to texts, your number is shared with our text message provider. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you through our contact page.
How long we keep it
We keep subscriber information while you are subscribed, and contact messages for as long as needed to respond and keep a record. We delete information when it is no longer needed.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
